The reapplication of wax to your cork parquet flooring should occur at least once per year. Wax should be replenished when signs of wear become evident. This will prevent possible damage to the cork tile.

Never saturate the floor with water - always keep water to a minimum. Excess or standing water can damage a cork floor.

Vacuum thoroughly removing all sand, dirt and loose grit.

Apply Johnson’s Traffic Paste Wax with a lambs wool applicator or soft cloth.

Allow to dry for at least 30 minutes and polish with a soft buffing pad on a floor machine.
white pad: normal buffing
red pad: to remove scuffs
wool pad: higher gloss

Additional coats may be applied immediately after the previous coat has been polished. Floors may be open to normal traffic after the wax has been polished.

Typically, when the floor is new, it will require buffing more frequently as the wax will not be fully hardened.
