Fine quality vinyl tiles do require a regular maintenance procedure.

Plain solid color floor tiles require a higher degree of care. These tiles will not look well if just damp mopped. No-Wax floors have a tendency to dull and diminish their gloss unless kept clean.

To properly care for a vinyl floor we recommend:

Clean: Sweep or vacuum to remove loose grit and soil.

Wash: Thoroughly wash with a mild detergent solution.

Rinse: Rinse with cool, clean water to remove residue.

Dry: Allow to dry.

Finish: Apply a good quality vinyl finish to protect the flooring.

Buffing:
Scuffs and scratches should be removed by using a buffing pad before applying the finish.

Furniture should be equipped with flat glides that will not damage flooring. When moving heavy furnishings and appliances care should be taken to protect the flooring against damage. High heel shoes can visibly damage any flooring and care should be taken to minimize this.
